In Memory of Kenji Onishi

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Kenji Onishi, a beloved member of the FIUTS community. Kenji was a warm and generous presence, always ready to welcome and support international students and visitors.

Over the years, Kenji hosted countless students in his home, picked them up from the airport with a smile, and lent a helping hand at Wednesday Lunch. His kindness and dedication created connections that enriched the lives of so many and embodied the spirit of community that FIUTS strives to foster.

A celebration of Kenji’s life, and that of his longtime partner, Martha, will be held on Saturday, December 14 at Blaine Memorial United Methodist Church in Seattle.
