Sports & Culture Exchange Program with Waseda University

FIUTS hosted the first cohort of the Sports & Culture Exchange Program with Waseda University from February 22-March 3, 2020. The next program is coming to Seattle from February 26-March 7th.

During the course of the program, participating students have an opportunity to learn about athletics at U.S. universities as well as understand the role that sports play in schools and communities in Seattle. They also stay in a 3-night homestay and are connected with Seattle area university student “Ambassadors” who help them to gain a better understanding of daily life and culture in our region of the United States.
